This is a compilation of print projects I created for clients at Charles Ryan Associates. Designs were executed according to each client's brand standards. A few freelance projects are included as well.

Curio is an award-winning magazine published for residents of the Shenandoah Valley. It is roughly 50+ pages in length and is distributed in the spring of each school year.

As lead designer of Curio, I was in charge of creating a design template to define the look and feel of the publication. I also oversaw the layout of 50+ pages of stories with accompanying photos and sidebars.

Port & Main is a 30-page student interest magazine published three times a year with a distribution of 5,000 copies across the James Madison University campus.

As lead designer of Port & Main, I worked closely with the Editor-in-Chief and Photo Editor to design aesthetically pleasing layouts, while incorporating and maintaining the established visual character of the magazine.

The Bluestone is James Madison University's official yearbook. Entirely student-run, the yearbook is roughly 350 pages long, is published in the spring of each year and reaches a readership of roughly 2,500 students. The Bluestone has won nationally prestigious awards, including The Gold Crown and Pacemaker awards.

As Design Editor of The Bluestone, I was in charge of creating the 2012-2013 design template to include fonts, colors and overall styling. I also oversaw the design of 350+ pages of stories and content, checking meticulously for consistency in design, as well as mentored junior designers.
